The orientation is to develop a tool box of skills sets developed through the mastering of the skill set behind the task at hand. We don’t focus on just performing movements but rather we spend our time on a movement practice which means, we don’t aim to master certain practice and become the best at what we do, instead we aim to get better at some areas that are not practiced as well...The goal is to always apply movement principles in an ever evolving fashion...so we develop a healthier, more intelligent body, sharper mind, and a better quality of life.
Our approach attends to the mental and emotional aspects of training as much as the physical. Modeled after the approach developed by Ido Portal, our movement practice can best be described by Ido’s own words:
With a strict emphasis on quality over quantity, we practice with only the highest standard of movement training at all times. With physiologically adaptable bodies, we have the potential to become better at whatever we do, but anything less than high-quality technique can become habitual during training, and can, in effect, become an obstacle to rather than an agent of positive growth.
