With a strict emphasis on quality over quantity, we practice with only the highest standard of movement training at all times. With physiologically adaptable bodies, we have the potential to become better at whatever we do, but anything less than high-quality technique can become habitual during training, and can, in effect, become an obstacle to rather than an agent of positive growth.

For community members interested in joining Chicago Movement the first step is to sign up for a free class here. There is no prerequisite to join our community. All you need is a body and the willingness to learn. As Ido Portal says “the only prerequisite for a movement practice is a human body”.
Our students are encouraged to set personal goals, attend to classes 3-6 times per week, and track their progress through journaling.
Beyond the physical approach through our practice, students learn to deal with problem solving, develop a relationship with fear, achieve personal goals just to mention a few aspects that make our holistic approach different than most fitness programs allowing our students to develop beyond the physical training. We foster self-development, great work ethic, and a playful approach to help students experience continuous progress in every area of life.
